Thursday, Day-off!

Nova Iguacu, closed Shopping hall, but at the black market I finally get my Soccer-shirt of the Brazil selection! On the way back we stopped at the families house of my friend Felipe. Only this mother was at home and started immediately cooking for us, when she get to know that we didn’t eat lunch, even when we said that we don’t want. After that delicious lunch we watched a birthday video of Felipe, 15 years ago! Little Felipe, show master like today!
Later we met Thiago and went to this Pousada in Tinguá which only need one word: Amazing!
We chilled out there, having a cold beer and a Caipifruta with Goiaba during looking in the rain-forest! I chilled on the sofa with a big smile in my face. Thats my place! I love it!

Friday, Love for a walk!

Trip in the Tropical Coast-Rain-Forest of Tinguá to Miguel Pedeira. Meetings with Waterfalls, beautiful nature, nice rivers, lovely houses and a ride on a Pick-up.
I did that Trip already in October 24, but it was so nice, that even the 6 hours of walking time dosen’t shocked me. So we get up at 4, with a delicious breakfast and hit the road at 5:30. First we climbed up the Tinguá Mountain and than we get in the “outback” of Rio de Janeiro. The smell of the air and the nature changed complete. We took a bath in a river and the final part we made on the back of a Pick-up! At our final destination we were 60 km from our city!

Saturday, Flower World!

Botanic Garden of Rio de Janeiro, is a really big garden. Flowerhouses, with flowers all over the world. Trees an Lakes with trees and flowers I never saw in my life. Waterfalls and little ruins made the park the a lovely place, which is used by cariocas to make pictures.
The time to go home wasn’t reached so we decided to make a walk all up to Leblon. There, a nice Italian Girl and I, bought a cold beer and sat in the sand, enjoying the raft see this day which changed the color of the see!
Later that day, we went to a 15-Years birthday of Bruna. This age is very important in Brazil, it topics the change from a girl to a woman. It was more like a German wedding, because Bruna was dressing clothes like we use in Germany only for weedings. Many of the Girls was dressed like this and Bruna changed her dress during the evening. Later we danced to funk and had nice conversations with nice brasilians!

Sunday, Urca and a sweet Loft!

The beautiful neighborhood of Sugar loft is called Urca. The houses are beautiful and the streets are clean. Its a quiet and calm district. The walk at the beach under the eyes of Christo, next to Sugarloft and on the other side of Flamengo and Botafogo!
The trail to the hill in front of Sugarloft shows a beautiful nature and a lots of little monkey called Mico! I tried to get one but without bananas, no chance!
